Das Fritz Schajowicz-Stipendium wird von der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Klinische Pathologie Molekularpathologie (ÖGPath) für die Teilnahme an internationalen wissenschaftlichen Tagungen verliehen. Das Stipendium soll an den 1912 in Wien geborenen und 1938 aus Österreich vertriebenen Fritz Schajowicz erinnern. Er war ein international anerkannter Experte in Knochenpathologie und lehrte 45 Jahre lang an der Universität von Buenos Aires.
Teilnahmeberechtigt sind alle WissenschafterInnen bis zum vollendeten 40. Lebensjahr*, die an einem österreichischen Institut für Pathologie tätig sind und die für die betreffende zu besuchende internationale Tagung einen angenommenen Abstrakt vorweisen können. Die Mitgliedschaft bei der ÖGPath/ IAP Austria ist Voraussetzung für eine Verleihung des Stipendiums.
